Hi all i already own a Big muff Pi and i absolutely love the pedal for Hendrick Trower and others but i’m looking for a traditional opverdrive pedal ..I own a Boss BD-2 ,BBE green Screamer,TS9DX..What can i expect out of a Muff nano overdrive?I think EHX are the best pedals out there and i would love to find that they have a Bluesy Overdrive could this be it?

at full volume on your guitar it’s a bit mucky. dial your volume back to 6/7 and this is the sound I’d been searching for ages.
slightly fuzzy and very responsive to your playing. play soft and it sparkles, dig in and it makes your chords crunch and shimmer.
Im trying to figure out a way to attenuate the pedal, but it’s looking more an more likely that’ll i’ll have to dial it down externally.
but to answer your question, i think this is one of the greatest unknown overdrive sounds ever.
Big Muff Pi and Muff Overdrive are two completely different circuits.
Muff is just the EHX word for dirt/fuzz/gain. If it doesn’t have Big in the name, it’s not a Big Muff. For example, the English Muff’n, Double Muff, and Metal Muff are not Big Muffs.
The big muff pi is totally different to the muff overdrive. the big muff has a whole lot more gain to it than the muff overdrive. you probably could get a nice bluesy overdrive sound with the muff overdrive.
