Hello I have an old 5 knob deluxe memory man that I used years ago before the internal transformer gave up. The pedal has been in a drawer unused for years and the transformer was removed long ago. I do remember it being connected to the board from the transformer using 3 wires I’m guessing 24 0 24v ? My questions are what is a suitable transformer to use as replacement? do I need a 24 0 24v 3 wire transformer? and what pads do I wire these to on the boards please.
I would love to get the pedal working again.Thank you for any help
Kind Regards
Plucker

Thank you

Yes, the center tap goes to the LED.
You could do it with a 24vdc wall wart but you’d need to rewire the LED, which isn’t a big deal. Keep in mind the pedal is positive groundDecember 15, 2016 at 2:05 pm #122343kilroyrockMemberHi, I don’t want to resurrect this from the dead, but the mouser link doesn’t work anymore. Can you throw me the part number or the specs that I can look up on mouser?
I need to bring this DMM’s memory back, and it’s not turning on!
Thanks!

Just a quick question regarding this topic. Is the transformer below the same as the one quoted above, but with the added ability to run 230V? I am in the same situation as the OP. Thank you so much in advance!

June 17, 2024 at 4:58 am #210346soulof70ParticipantHi, can a 120v US pedal be used in the UK (240v) simply by changing the plug or do I need to replace the transformer?
June 17, 2024 at 5:13 am #210347soulof70ParticipantThe current transformer is XA0020. If it needs a 240v version do I assume that would be a XE0020 rather than an XE0010? I’m not sure what the difference is between 0010 and 0020. And if a 240v version is needed, are there any modern transformers available?
