I recently purchased a DMTT 550 and upon putting it on my board, found that there was a white noise/hiss on top of the repeats. The severity of the noise follows the length/strength of repeats. It is very consistent regardless of what the settings on the pedal are which makes me think it could be a technical issue. When the pedal is disengaged, my dry signal has no unwanted sound whatsoever, and even when the pedal is on, the dry sound coming out is not effected…. only the repeats. The noise make the pedal unusable live.
I sold my 24v memory man to fund a TT for the ease of use live, I absolutely love the memory man sound and hope there is something I can do to solve this issue.
Any information is greatly appreciated,
I’m having this exact same issue. Is it just normal because of the MN3008 chips and the pedal being analog, or is there an problem with the pedal?
