Home › Forums › Help/Technical Questions › Deluxe Memory Man Power Rating
Hi, I was hoping someone could help, I’ve had a look & couldn’t see any threads that answer me.
I’m looking at buying the flatliner pro to power my pedal board.
Almost everywhere on-line I see that the memory man deluxe is 24volt rated, the flatliner can power this but when I looked at the power supply I currently have powering my MMD it says it output is 40volts!
I’m a bit confused, will 24 volts work, have I been frying my MMD for the last 8 years? (Its one of the large older models)
Thanks
Iain.
Yes, it should be 24vdc, not 40. It’s internally regulated so it shouldn’t be too much of a problem for your pedal. Maybe you got it mixed up with a Graphic Fuzz and got the adapters switched.
Hi Ron, Thanks for the fast reply!
Good to know I’ve not been damaging it, will get that sorted.
Could that power supply be for a bass micro synthesizer or frequency analyzer?
The older boxes don’t have their respective ratings written on them, is there an easy way to tell?
Thanks again.
Iain
40vdc for the Frequency Analyzer.
There’s no easy way to tell. There’s a link to a spreadsheet in my sig that has most of them listed.
Aha! Bit foolish, I should have spotted that..
That’ll be very useful, one of my guitarist friends & I have collected a fair few pedals, but I don’t think we have all the power supplies for them (hence the need for a power brick)
In the spread sheet, if there’s no current draw does that imply the pedal draws the full amount in the adaptor specs?
Pardon my ignorance.
Thanks for the info
Iain
No. It just means I don’t have the data yet.
Ok, thanks again!
