And is past warranty. Local desler said it was the motherboard.
So this is where we say goodbye, EHX. I have bought thousands of dollars worth of your pedals and promoted your products with religious fervor, but as much as I enjoy the chorus-delay combination I can’t take a chance buying another pedal that isn’t going to last. My 2880 looper’s draw bar doesn’t work correctly either. It’s a little less than two years old. Feeling pretty let down. Had planned to use EHX exclusively for life.
They do offer repair service for out of warranty items.
Yeah, but the local guy said it was the motherboard, and the NS rep kindly said they can’t replace the board because that would be like replacing the unit. I don’t want to have to replace it with an MXR Carbon Copy, but I can’t afford to replace expensive pedals after two years of careful use.
Is this an XO model or the big chassis version?
XO. Liked that design better.
I can’t imagine the whole motherboard is dead. How about you send it to me and I’ll take a look at it?
OK, I’m going by what the local repair guy said, as he had the pedal since February. NS responded promptly and courteously, and I’m sure they have to guard against replacing every broken pedal, so I understand. Where should I send?
Sent you an email.
Thanks! stoked. I’m happy as an EHX loyalist
Ron Neely fixed my Memory Man. He is now “EHX God.”
