Hey guys. I needed to find help for this issue. I really need this awesome pedal to function so I can use it at our show coming up.
Anywho, I run this pedal in my chain, powered by a 1 Spot. When I plug the Deluxe Mem. Boy in, all the lights on the pedal just sit there and blink in a consistent motion. the pedal does not function. I’ve tried different power supplies, cables, and tried powering it by itself. It’s just not wanting to work. It’s frustrating because when it worked at the store last weekend, the thing was amazing..
can anybody help me?!
Sincerely,
Colton
Be sure, that you’re using the adaptor packed with the DMB…But that’s usually just causing a hiss…Then when you say the lights are blinking…aren’t you in the tap divide sequencer mode? Just move the delay knob to get out of it (but it would play (weird stuff) anyway in the sequencer mode)…But that’s all I can think of – and if your DMB is broken then I’m really not good at fixing those things…
Hope this solves soon… 😥
Thanks man. Yeah I’ve been told I need to use the provided power supply. The only problem is I got this pedal used from Guitar Center and it didn’t come with the provided power supply. So I don’t know where I can get it, and how much it costs. I think it’s slightly silly it has to be the DMB supply only.
I think (hope) the 9V power supply offered at the website should work fine…
https://www.ehx.com/includes/general_page/446/ DMB is just there in the list…
But I really don’t know how available they are in the local stores… :worried:
