    I bought this pedal second hand and I love it’s sound and controls, specially expression. But for few months I’m having a problem with it. Even if I don’t put anything in expression jack, when I turn expression on (so that one light brights) it makes everything set lower that it is without expression engaged. So for example if I set it on delay, the delay light will start blinking faster, if I set it on feedback it won’t oscilate even if I had feedback fully clockwise etc.

    What could be a problem and is there a way to solve this? Did anyone had simular problem?

    I gave up and bought another delay. :/

    I’ve send email direct to EHX, too, and they’ve replied I should send it to them. But all that sending, work, possible part changing etc. could cost me more then buying another. It simply wasn’t worth the risk.
    Although, if you can get it to official service I would recommend doing it. Then let me know. I beg for knowing the answer. :D

    I’m in Argentina, send it to them is too much expensive!

    They may have official services in Argentina, send them email. Worth try. :)
    Yes I did. :) I need some special functions/sounds no other pedal have (at least for that price).

    The official service here is worse than throw the pedal to the trash: at least that way I don’t spend more money and discuss with useless technicians.

    I sent a email to EHX’s technical support: maybe it’s an internal trimpot, or something simple.

    Ok, this was fast :D

    Reading the users manual, I found:

    EXP. PEDAL Jack — Allows the musician to control any of the four available expression modes with an optional expression pedal or control voltage. The expression pedal should have a Tip-Ring-Sleeve plug attached to it. It is important that the expression pedal have the correct polarity. The tip of the plug must be connected to the wiper of the potentiometer inside the expression pedal.

    I took an old Hot Potz (Cry Baby), and soldered a stereo plug (following the manual indications).
    The expression functions work great!

    It seems that the problem was the tip connection.
