Dug out my DEM today. Most here, probably know how this pedal sounds already. For those who don’t, I made up a simple demo.
http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=909310&content=music
I figured some open chords to demonstrate the slow “whooshing” sound. Around 1:10, I kick on a Double Muff(double mode). You can get an idea of how hitting it with an dist/fuzz/od will affect it.
Settings(o’clocks) are Color = 9:30 Range = 5 Rate = 8:30
At around 3:50, I set it for a Leslie/Univibe-like setting. It isn’t perfect, but comes close and will do in a pinch. The OD, at the end, is a Double Muff(single mode).
Color = 11 Range = 11 Rate = 2:30
I used a Gibson LP w/ AlNiCo II’s and a Fender Champion 600. I miked it with a Shure SM57. I added some compression in Pro Tools.
Any questions just ask.
Thanks,
Ming
Nice demo :thumb:
i really liked it.
Sounds nice. I’ve been a fan of those little Champ600’s. They are awesome little amps.
it may sound silly but how is this differentg to the stereo electric mistress??
The Stereo Electric Mistress is digital; the Deluxe Electric Mistress is analog.
