Hello,
my EHX Deluxe Electric Mistress (the reissue) is acting a little strange. It gives a clock/click sound when flanging and even when it’s on Filter Matrix. “Clicking” sound comes in same time as the rate is set.
Anyone knows how to fix that? It’s only about 3-4 years old and I bought it new.
THanks,
Iggy
I’d say that a trimpot has probably drifted out of alignment. I’m not sure if it’s something you can fix by yourself (you need an oscilloscope to adjust some trimpots) but if you can, I’m sure EHMan will drop in here and explain how.
Thanks for your help. I don’t have an oscilloscope and I am not an expert on electronics.
But I hope I get some further help.

I am having the same issue as well. The ticking/clicking speeds up as I increase the rate knob.
I was thinking, perhaps, it could be something to do with the power supply? i.e. not enough power/milliamps/amps? I am using the EH 24 volt power supply.
Thanks.
Yes, but I have a deluxe memory man also with the same power adaptor and I have tried to change it with the same result… So I guess that’s not the issue.
You could send it into EH for repair. They charge a small flat fee for out of warranty repairs.
Yes I guess I could but I live in Stockholm, Sweden. It would cost some money for the postage/handling plus repair.
Any ideas on this one?
there is a repair facility in Germany you could send it to http://www.newsensor.com/CutomerServices.aspx
