So I tried changing some settings on the internal trimpots of my deluxe electric mistress, but can’t seem to find their original setting back. Is it possible for someone to make a gutshot or tell me how they’re set?
Thanks!
oops.
I don’t think you can do it by using the settings from another pedal, I guess the reason the are trim pots is because they need to be set different from pedal to pedal……I suppose you might be able to get it close.
it’s not usually a good idea.
Damned.
I’ll see how close I can get by doing it myself.
Thanks for the advice!
if someone can get you a gut shot hopefully that will get you in the ball park.
Here you go:
Nice one Krinor! :thumb:
Good luck attic!
Anytime
Thanks man!
I’m going to adjust them tomorrow…
No problem.
Remember to report back to us once you’ve dialed it in. I’m curious to hear if it works.
I sat down with it this morning, and before adjusting the trim pots I was gonna play a bit.
Then I realised that it passed my signal smoothly when the effect was bypassed, but it muted my signal when engaged. So the effect is not working.
I’m taking it back to the shop today and see what they can do.
Sorry that you went through all this trouble for nothing, but I can tell you that the settings don’t appear to be similar.
Thanks though!
Some really fast help here.
I was afraid of that. These units really needs to be set using digital multi meters or oscilloscopes in order to get the values right. BTW has anyone seen a service manual for this effect or other EH BBD units ?
Oh, and posting that picture was no trouble at all. I always take gutshots of all my pedals.
