can anyone explain why EH opted for a “power on” led instead of an “effect on” led?
having no signal is usually a good indication that the pedal is off, didnt really need a led to tell me it was plugged in/turned on. that always sort of drove me nuts.

otherwise, lets appreciate this great beast. for the sake of trivia, this is the first pedal “i spent too much money on” back when in my broker days.

You can easily change it to a effect on LED, just true bypass it and swap the Led wiring around a bit, I done it to my micro synth, took about ten minutes.

Sonicmayhem in a box! I bought mine over here in Spain a decade ago from the original owner:

I wish I still had my first effect, though – an old LPB1 I bought in the ’70s. I miss that one…

this needs a ‘Haz-sized’ reissue right now….now what could the 6th knob do on the RI?

you could have the comp on/off on a seperate switch for a start. :)

This for sure needs to be Reissued. I could get rid of all my other fuzzes then…

I’ve decided to part with mine. Pots dated 1977. 240v model. Works great, but I just don’t use it anymore. Don’t know what the rules are on posting stuff for sale, so I’ll just say it’ll be on Ebay UK by the end of the week.

I found the thread with the link to the ebay page but it was so long ago it’s not there anymore. :(

My scanner’s acting up HP don’t support OS X Leopard…), but I photocopied the original that came with my Pi Deluxe posted above. PM/email me a fax # or meatspace address, and I’ll send it to you if you like.
