I have been in the process of building an enormous all EHX pedalboard, and recently discovered that the first EHX pedal, the Linear Power Booster, was released in late 1968. I was born in October of 1968, and found out a few years ago that my actual birthdate was the exact same day that Led Zeppelin (my biggest influence) played under the LZ name after fulfilling tour dates as The New Yardbirds for contractual reasons. I want to know the date that the first EHX pedal was released because I think it would be pretty wild if it ALSO was the date of my birth, especially considering my current pedalboard project! Does anybody know?
