Home › Forums › Help/Technical Questions › Correct power supply for EHX 22500 Looper
All,
Not seeing a search function here – so I apologize if I’m asking something that’s been asked before.
I bought a 22500 looper used. It has been months since I bought it and am just getting to trying it out. It did not, regrettably, ship with the power supply, but I have a 9v 200mA power supply.
While I can hear my guitar play through the device just fine, the mode knob does not work, regardless of whether I turn it or push it or whatever – no LEDs change or anything. It just stays on BANK.
I doubt that the power supply is the problem, but just in case, please let me know what the correct one is – when I search online for the 9.6V 240mA power supply, I am taken to other 200mA power supplies. When I look here:
https://www.ehx.com/products/96v-ac-dc-power-supply
I see that the 45000 looper is supported by this power supply, but not the 22500.
Please let me know what the correct power supply is for the 22500, and I’ll be happy to buy it.
Cheers,
Michael
Michael, Hi!
According documetation for EHX 22500 looper https://www.ehx.com/assets/instructions/22500.pdf you need adaptor for 9.6V 500mA.
You can buy standard, advanced or worldwide version of that atapter here https://www.ebay.com/itm/183146783160

Oleg,
Thank you for your reply.
I am not really that bright when it comes to electricity – the document says 9.6 V, 240 mA – will a 500 mA power supply work for a 240 mA requirement?
Cheers,
Michael
