So most compact loopers seem to look out for the one man banders. I’d really like a looper that’s more for someone that wants to use loop manipulation as part of their songs. I know the 45000 can get me there, but dang is it expensive, overkill, and really big.
Also, no small loopers have midi sync or midi CCs. I think it’s time to change that.
The big thing for me though is being able to manipulate the loop preferably with an expression pedal.
Expression modes:
Speed Down: Slows down the recording pitch/tempo
Speed Up: Speeds up the recording pitch/tempo
Speed Up/Down Record: records your tape manipulations in real time rather than just shifting the whole thing down
Crossfade: Crossfade between two different loops
Crossfade Record: mixes the realtime crossfades down to one loop
Reverse: reverse the recording
Level: fades your loop in and out
A headphone jack would also be super useful so you could manipulate your loops before the audience hears them.
maybe EH would check out the Vox VDL-1
