Hello, I have 2 vintage clone theory pedals. One has the more commonly seen 2-prong power cord. The other has what looks like a TS mono jack for power that plugs into the side of the unit (rather than the back). Was this standard at any point? I am curious if my pedal was modified or if it was a factory transition from the 2-prong plug. Also, could an EHX staff member recommend a replacement AC adapter for the one that came with my vintage clone theory? It’s labelled LZR Electronics Inc., Input: 120vac, 60hz, 9W; Output; 24vac 200mA (and it uses what looks like a mini TS mono jack).
Vintage EH pedals for the Canadian market used a 24vac adapter instead of a hard-wired AC cord. The mini-jack (1/8″ or 3.5mm) is likely correct.
Awesome, thanks! So all I need now is to learn where to find a replacement for the aging adapter. It’s a LZR Electronics Inc., Input: 120vac, 60hz, 9W; Output; 24vac 200mA. Does EHX make an adapter that will safely power this?
A little heftier with current but will work fine.
Thanks again!!
