…..that goth thread made me all nostalgic for ‘Top of the Pops’ (recently dropped by the BBC) There were some classic performances on there when I was younger, maybe the music was just more exciting back then?
Here’s some I remember seeing (and no doubt shaping my music taste forever) on a Thurday evening back when I was a kid.
Generation X- King Rocker (I can’t believe I was only 9 or 10 when this came out….my best mates sister was a punk and we used to play her singles when she was out, I feel in love with this when I heard it and saved my pocket money to buy it!!) pity it sounds pretty crap these days!!
