I have seen the blue and grey ones but what about this black an Grey?
There are also green ones, like this early beauty (not mine unfortunately):
Hmm didn’t know they made the early ones in so many different color versions
My fav civil war color is the green and black ones.
Actually, that is not black ink on the CW above, it is just very dark blue. The blue silk screen ink color varied from run to run. There were many different box color variations on the Civil Wars too. I believe the only CW made with black ink was the last one with the all green box, which became what we call the “green” Big Muff, when the graphics changed to just the tall font words “Big Muff” in the mid 90’s. All the other gray or blue box CW’s I have seen had this similar dark blue ink. Here is a history on them and photos of every version I have seen.
