I think waiting for the forum to grow in trust and members might be good before putting in buy/sell/trade topics. Just my opinion.
March 10, 2009 at 12:55 am #94333danieldangerParticipantwho wants to sell me a clockworks unit?
March 25, 2009 at 6:48 pm #94890KrinorMemberDon’t know about the clockwork, but I could get you an orange.
March 25, 2009 at 6:58 pm #94896danieldangerParticipantlike the fruit? will the fruit sequence space drums?
March 25, 2009 at 7:03 pm #94897KrinorMemberIt will. It will provide you with fruity loops and strange geometric shapes will form in mid air.
March 25, 2009 at 7:32 pm #94899BlueSteelParticipanti think that there should be a “buy/sell/trade” thread eventually, it would be a great addition, but like someone else said, the forum is too young. and it would create a whole lot of spam. and people might join the forum just to try and scam you or something.

Blueberries are one of my favorites – especially after the birds have eaten them and crapped on my car. But… I don’t think they allow berries around this forum.

July 8, 2009 at 10:19 am #99020nneekolasParticipantI didn’t even notice that my thread asking to trade XO for classic microsynths was also deleted. I actually found someone locally, but apologies for not paying attention to the rules. I personally am a-ok with commerce here, especially since there are many collectors present, but I can understand why people who own websites don’t want to get mixed up in transactions over the internet.

I think we’ve come to a compromise on this that should work for everyone. If anyone wants to list their item on a local selling site, ebay or whatever and include a link in their signature for people to see here then that’s fine. But the administration would rather deals were not conducted on the forum itself or personal details posted in threads.
….of course you are free to use the PM/email system to contact other members privately.
