just got this pedal-thought maybe we could start a thread with some settings we like. im going to have a play around with it when i get chance-if i find something that sounds great ill post it on here.
On the Echo preset-Blend at 1, reverb at 9, tone at 11, feedback at 12 and delay at 2.
Great for analog simulation
Here is one for spring reverb, blend at 11, reverb time at 9:30, tone at 2,
Real nice subtle verb
Another setting for echo: blend at full, feedback and delay at 0, now you can use the tone/damping control as a filter! Now throw in some reverb if you like.
found this one (more of a fun thing than something useful)
blend, reverb, damping/tone at 12 feedback at aboud 3 pre delay between 9 and 11 o’clock for a ring modulator sound.
(subtle ring modulator)
I love this pedal any setting with tone turned dark, expect for the hall settings i know that sounds simple but i really hate harsh reverb ALSO run this pedal in stereo YOU MUST!!!!!!!!!!! I think all of Eh pedals that are stereo Should be used that way
”The Cathedral is a digital reverb pedal with seven different types of reverb plus digital echo, all of which work in true stereo.”
that’s from the manual
It’s rather subtle, it adds a stereo spacial sound that you can’t get in mono. The Blend, and Reverb time nobs seem the most effected in stereo The blend cranked up really creates the “CATHEDRAL” sound, where as tuned lower you get more of your classic reverb tone. also the infinite mode dose some thing really weird to the stereo, especially when you keep playing with the button held down.
