Hey guys, what’s up. I did this mod to my Cathedral last year and have recently posted about it in other effects forums and did a youtube demo of it, thought I might as well throw it up here as well. the “demo” is pretty short and isn’t about playing or how the pedal sounds, but rather the functionality of the mod.

Long story short, I wired in an extra jack to the infinite/tap tempo switch that allows you to add a latching switch that will keep the infinite mode on infinitely… super simple, a bit of a pain taking the board out for drilling, but it works great, and allows for some tweaking depending on the mode you’re in. Aside from the Reverse reverb example shown, you can do the same to the flerb and echo modes as well for some interesting sounds. The stock infinite/tap temp switch remains fully functional. Alternatively you can also replace the existing momentary switch with a DPDT or 3PDT switch for the same mod without the drilling, but then you lose tap tempo.
Obviously, doing any of this would void your warranty so if anyone is considering it, do at your own risk.
Hope you like.
Nice idea! I think that would be very cool and useable for some Cathedral-users!
