I just received by brand new EHX Crayon pedal from Chicago Music Exchange. I noticed the case graphic no longer says “New York City” on it. What is the reason for the change. Has the manufacturing changed?
No nothing has changed.
It is still assembled in Long Island City NY.
We do not make IC chips or metal cases or plastic knobs as we would need dozens of factories. So we source parts from around the world.
Mike Matthews has 90 employees at the NY factory.
