Canyon and Tap Tempo Question – Electro-Harmonix

Hi,

I bought yesterday and registered online the Canyon. The pedal is fantastic, warm, and there are a lot of settings!
I have just a problem/disappoint (that I don’t know if it is a feature or ohter): if I set tempo with external tap tempo during the play, I can heard that the effect sweeps in the same mode when I move the delay knob during the play; this is very annoying, and it’s impossible to change time in the middle of the song, because the others can heard this sweep. Is there a mode to disable/fix this?

I can’t think of a way to change this behavior. Tap tempo while the effect is engaged is exactly like you manually turning the Delay knob while playing, just that it sets it to the time your tapping, but programmatically they are identical.

I think you have no option but to bypass -> tap new tempo -> engage.
