The preamp section of my SS Fender amp has stop working. I’m still using it by the loop/power amp in. But I can’t get the full 90 watts from the amp. Can the LPB2 help me with this? What is the line level of the LPB2?. It will be cool to have a clean tube preamp into my solidstate power amp.

    Hi,
I assume you are talking about the LPB-2ube. I tried this in a Valvestate amp skipping the preamp by using the FX loop return, and yes it delivered as much volume as expected, but it didn’t sound as nice as expected.
Anyway the LPB-2ube remains being a great tool for me to use in combination with amp simulators that I need to use while recording, or as a hell of a good overdrive pedal right to the amp with the rest of the effects.
    Hope this helps,
    best regards

Yeah that’s exactly what I want to know.
    Thanks for the answer.

Actually I’m running my pedalboard through the power amp of my Fender and it sounds ok, but it lacks in volume and could be a little more warm.

I think that the tone (that I like a lot) of this amp (Deluxe 90 DSP) comes mainly from the design of the box and the speaker.

    I want the LPB-2ube to:

    – Warm up / compress a little the signal (like a tube pre)

    – Make the amp sound at full volume.

Seems that the LPB-2ube covers both.

    Thanks again.

Excuse my poor English , I’m from Peru.
