Wondering if the frequency pots for the filters in the nano Bassballs can be adjusted. I would like to mess around with the starting frequencies but I am concerned that this will cause issues. One of my EXH manuals said that trim pots should be adjusted unless stated in the manual. Anyone messed around with the trim pots in the Bassballs?
It won’t hurt anything to adjust them but you should mark them with a marker so you can return them to their original positions if you need to.
Whether you can mess w/ trimpots or not varies according to the pedal and what the trimpot does. In this case, it only sets the filters so no harm can be done.
i agree with EH-MAN, and anyone should, he is the master!
but i would also like to add that, many people feel those trim pots should have been surface mount pots to begin with, and there are many online mod’s for that unit to make it a 3 knob controlled unit from the outside, basically just replacing the internal trim’s with external pots.

That sounds like a sweet idea! Do you have a link or some sort of info on the mod?
And is there a recommended increment at which I should adjust the trim pots? 1/4 turn?
