Home › Forums › Help/Technical Questions › Can someone help me understand the difference between a HOG2 and the combo of C9, B9, etc.?
I love the sounds I see can be produced from the MEL9, C9, B9, Key 9 and Ravish. It seems the HOG2 has much of the same capabilities as displyed by those pedals but wihtout the presets. so could someone get all thios esounds out of the HOG2 just by adjusting it correctly? or must one buy the MEL9, Key9, B9 and C9 seperately to get those osunds? Is there some overlap and it is easy to explain? thanks, T
They are very different designs and software.
You can not dial the Hog to sound like the others. You can get some great organ sounds with the HOG but its very different than the B9 and C9. The Mel9 is in a world of its own.
thanks for the rapid reponse…so few shortcuts? gotta start saving up then! T
Ha no sorry!
The B9 was created after a Effectology video that had a B3 sort of organ sound.
So the Hog and B9 are related in spirit and idea.
They all are great pedals and do things you really can not find anywhere else.

thanks! so to get most of those specific keyboard sounds require C9, B9, Key9 and Mel9…almost a grand…maybe I can live without the sitar…like I said, saving up….T
