    I sync my 45000 to Ableton Live. I want to be able to start playing loops from Live with the 45000 in quantize mode without it immediately starting to record. Is that possible?

    I’m not sure how to do it in Ableton, but there should be a way to send clock but not send start/stop data.

    There is a way to send only clock data, but then the 45000 won’t be able to quantize to the start of a bar. It seems that if I use quantize on the 45000 I’m stuck with it starting to record as soon as I hit play.
