Hello, I have the EHX polychorus and is awesome, a great pedal, but i´ve been tweaking for days to find the authentic 80´s timbre, a chorus like a bell that the cure or cocteau twins or sisters of mercy had, but i can´t find it.
I almost sure that this machine have this sound…
robert smith was all about jazzmasters and boss pedals back then. i would imagine your polychorus + a flanger will get you there. i was able to get a very similar tone by using the detune on a pog2. strum away and you can hear the similarities.
