Help I’ve come to EHX for an answer to my quest……..I am running my Traynor YGA-1 thru two custom Traynor cabs that I rebuilt the first one uses a 15″ driver for my acoustic and the second with 2×12″ private jacks for straight ahead rock……..
I have the first cab on the main output and the second on the ext output……..both at 8ohms and 100 watts……
My dilemma is how to use the cabs individually without having to physically unplug the cabs……..I do not want to spend 300 bucks on a cabbone to do it and was hoping someone in Ehx land would have a suggestion…….the EH switchbone was an option, but I don’t believe it will let me use both cabs when needed….and I’m not aware of any other selectors out there at the right price………..
If there is not a stock EHX pedal that will perform the task is there a way to modify a Switch Blade that could be operated like and ABC switch so the amp would have the third option of using both cabs at once and showing the amp a constant load………
I hav e an old switchblade from late 70’s, early 80’s. I can do 2 cabs individually or both at once. That is actually the main thing I use it for. I can’t speak for the new switchblade.
thanx fire…………I will certainly look into that!
Anyone in the forum using a newer switch blade for cabinets know if it will will function like and AB pedal and give you cabinets individually and or both together?
