I just got a broken stereo memory man (the echo/chorus one, not the one with hazari)
it powers on when i plug it in, and when its disengaged the sound goes through but as soon as i turn it on, no sigal passes through and theres just a humming sound
I opened it up and I think i see whats wrong, theres a loose brown wire with one end attached to the main out. im guessing the other end goes to the footswitch. if thats the case, i have a friend whos handy with electronics who could solder it back on but i dont know where it goes or if this is the only problem.
here a picture showing the brown wire in question (just copy/paste and replace the ‘xx’ with ‘tt’ i cant figure out how to hyperlink it and the picture is huge)

It goes to the middle lug of the switch. The one that doesn’t have a wire on it.
i soldered it back on, no use, its still having the same issue. shit!
Then you’ve got more problems. How’s your troubleshooting skills?
im new to working with electronics but i think im pretty good at trouble shooting hah
