May 8, 2019 at 7:28 pm #125183zykanMembermany years later ….
same happened to me. need this switch and had no luck with ehx costumer service … mouser stacks hundreds of different dpdt slide switches of about the same size … any hints ?May 9, 2019 at 12:49 am #125189EHX STAFFKeymasterPlease write service
info@ehx.comMay 15, 2019 at 9:00 am #125223zykanMemberdid that. two times … unfortunately i did not get any response. i wrote at least 10 times in the last years and never ever got any response actually. to be fair, it was always about rare, vintage pieces like a momentary push button for the super replay or drm 15 schematics etc
this slider switch drives me crazy because i tried several times with no luck. dpdt, 2 pole etc. i disabled the broken switch but – it was broken (: spent like an hour at mouser too …
i am close to stick in just any switch and cover the mess with some tape :ahhh:cheers !

EHX does not repair or have parts for the vintage pedal as as that original factory is long gone.
Did you try small bear electronics?
http://smallbear-electronics.mybigcommerce.com/May 15, 2019 at 5:28 pm #125226zykanMemberthanks !
i am far from hoping for spares but i hoped for part numbers, schematics etc
and i tried smallebear and a couple of other sites over the years – mostly without success.
just love my og ehx big boxes and try to maintain them carefully.
thanks for helping again !
best

Smallbear also carries these http://smallbear-electronics.mybigcommerce.com/potentiometer-cts-slide-for-old-micro-synth/ which should be suitable for the vintage 16 second, I’ve used them in other vintage EHX without problem.

but i need the a sliding switch with the cap? in a 90 degree angle.
(if you know what i mean). i desolderd the broken switch, took all meassurements and compared it with quite a lot of datasheets on mousser with no i will now stop bering a nerd about this and just use something that kind of fits closely.
cheersMay 16, 2019 at 1:27 pm #125233ScruffieMemberNo, sorry, I’m not sure what you mean, if you send me a picture I might be able to help.
May 16, 2019 at 2:36 pm #125234zykanMembera little like this:
May 16, 2019 at 3:05 pm #125235ScruffieMemberOhhh, for the reissue 16 second, I thought you meant a vintage model. No, I don’t know what specific size it needs then.
May 16, 2019 at 3:48 pm #125239zykanMembersorry for the mix up. this thread was started by someone else long time ago. and he asked about the 16 sec reissue (stated in the first post). so i chimed in …
funny enough all my older big box ehx stuff works perfect. even sliders on the sequencer … only part i would love to find is the red momentary switch as in the instant replay and the super replay. both work but i would love use this to replace at least the recording switch in the 16 sec delay for smoother action … thanks again -
