I have a lot of ehx gear and ive had no problems with any of it.Recently the output that I plug into the computer from my 2880 broke and I dont know what to do. I believe its firewire but im unsure. I compose a lot of music, and save it on my computer to review when im in a more objective state of mind. Since the output broke, i have had to discard tons of ideas just to keep playing. What can I do to get it fixed? How much would it cost?
hello,
it’s not firewire, but USB.
You can use standart usb cables that you also use for example to connect your printer with your pc. maybe try a different cable first (if you’re lucky, not the connector is broken, but the cable).
Another solution is to buy a card reader (they’re very cheap) and always put the memory card from the 2880 into the card reader to save the music onto the computer.
Thanx a lot!
