I’ve done a bit of searching but really have not found a compare/contrast of the black & white finger compressors.
So how are they different in sound (yes I know one is tube one is FET)…how would you guys describe the difference?
I am trying to figure out which one to get…the demo videos also say they are both great for vocals…anyone had any experience with that as well?
So, basically, for those who have used both, which do you prefer and why (for your setup)? And if you could try to describe the tonal differences thatd be great.
Thanks!
yh ive been looking for this aswell
the only way i could describe the differences are that the black finger seems to fatten up the tone awesomly but sounds a bit crunchy . dark
and with the white finger its more less subtle, almost more fresh and bright
ive tried the black finger, and it sounded great, the only problems i had with it were that it didnt take well to overdrive, but perhaps it was something i was doing wrong i dont know ?
i think im going to order the black and if i dont like it, sell it and get the white
but im to indecisive !!1
