I bought my first EHX pedal today and unfortunately I have to finish work before I can test it.
I was looking it over and I noticed that 1 of the 4 screws is different than the others. It’s silver and slightly larger than the rest.
I also noticed that one of the white screws looks like it is stripped already before I’ve even touched it.
Would the pedal have left the factory like this or is it possible that my retailer might have had something to do with it?
that definitely sounds like it had been tampered with after it left the factory!
The screws on mine are painted, but I had no problem with them. The fourth screw on yours sounds suspicious.
With screws, always remember to have a ton of different screwdrivers. . . if it doesn’t come out easy, don’t try to force it, change screwdrivers and try again.
Did you buy it new? If so, take it back. If not, don’t worry about it, just replace the screws.
