Hello fellas,
I brought a big muff from the states 2 weeks ago into Australia and somehow all of a sudden i’m not getting a sound out of it. I’m running a Fender FM212R to the big muff (latest model), then into a whammyIV to a strat.
Everything seems to be fine with it though, i’m using a power supply, the ignition light is on, but no sound at all!
Any suggestions on whats happened? Can the wiring inside have anything to do with it?
Post a gut shot of it, a hi res clear with plenty of light pic showing the switch, PCB and jacks and I may be able to help you out.
If not, I’m an Ozzie and I repair Big muffs if need be.
hmmm…I think I found the problem.
The 9v battery that came with the big muff only read 4v….Changed it to another 9v battery with full power and problem fixed.
Does this mean that the power supply must always be in to keep the battery at a usable level?
Thanks Liberty Belle, If anything goes wrong I’ll be sure to drop you a message
With this pedal the battery still runs dead even if you use an adapter so just use either one, dont have a battery in AND use an adapter.
