    I recently got an American Big Muff Pie that had a couple busted pots, one for the volume, the other for the tone. I got some replacement pots direct form Electro-Harmonix. They sent me three 100k pots, but the old busted pot for the volume was 500k. Have things changed? Would I be ok with using the 100k or should I pick up a 500k pot?

    every muff I’ve ever seen uses 100k pots for every control. I have no idea why yours had a 500k in it.

    hmmm, interesting. I guess I’ll just use the 100k and hope everything goes ok. Thanks.
