I bought my Big Muff about a year ago and wasn’t able to register it right away. I was pretty sad when I realized the stomp switch was broken out of the box.
So…. I’m going to need to try to replace the switch myself. I’ve heard I can use a Carling footswtich to convert the pedal to true bypass. Anyone have any experience with this? Advice?
Where did you purchase it from? Some retailers offer a “double warranty.” it’s worth the effort to check and see if you had your warranty doubled.
Other than that, the current-generation Big Muff Pi is, indeed, true bypass and doesn’t need a conversion (if that’s the question you’re asking?).
