any muff will work with a bass. I use the last russian black version. I see that you are talking about sounds that bill has used on his videos. But remember, the steam sound needs some filtering. And the fuzz is just the distortion, which adds harmonics, producing a kind of square wave sound.

Forgot to say, that the first two sounds doesn’t need an instrument plugged in to work.

To get a squarewave fuzz, the easiest way would be an EHX Bass Microsynthesizer, it sounds great:)

They were done with a dummy plug, justr so you can turn the pedal on.. But if you have questions about that, just ask in the topic were Bill explains how he makes the sounds, most of the time he answers anybody’s questions..

I haven’t tried it myself, but that’s just how Bill uses it, no input in the pedal, the plug is just to get it on, cause the pedal won’t work without the input plug.. The noise is frome the pedal itself^^

Well with sound possibilities I think the Bass Big Muff has more, if you like it more is just a matter of taste of course..
