Hi!

I just got a Big Muff. I love the sound, but I have a question. I bought this second hand, so I am not looking for any warranty repair, but I hope you can point me in the right direction.

The pedal is like new, only used a couple of times by the previous owner. When I was fiddling with the knobs. the sound would cut out in about 2 points during the knobs rotation. All I had to to was tap the knob and everything is ok… I was playing and again the sound went out… All that was required was to tap the unit again.

Could it be a dirty pot? Is there anything I can do to clean the contacts? What should I clean or check? What do you recommend?
