I purchased a used big box Q-Tron + off of craigslist..When the pedal is plugged in all lights work as they should but when you engage the pedal there is a major volume loss in all modes..When bypassed it goes back to normal volume levels…
The seller was selling his daughters gear so i’m sure he did not know there was a problem as well as he told me to contact him if there was..He was a pretty good guy so if its a minor repair i would like to fix it myself….
I have the same problem with my Q-Tron+ and active basses.
Anybody knows how to solve it?
Thanks.
I recently purchased a big box Qtron plus and am having similar issues. Had no problems initially, but after running a stompbox in the FX loop I experienced a tremendous signal drop. Now I have to jump out the FX loop in order to maintain working signal levels. I checked the quarter inch jacks, soldering, etc and did not see an issue. Its not a huge issue to run a jumper cable in the FX loop, just annoying because it originally didnt need this to function properly. Would love some suggestions on how to correct problem.
Same. Any solutions?
