Tagged: big box, Deluxe Memory Man, DMM
Hello friends.
I’m the lucky owner of a big box late 90’s DMM (5 square knobs, separate dc adaptor) that apparently has some kind of fault with the Delay control.
It works as a charm until the pot is about halfway. Then the sound gets heavily distorted over a few degrees of turn and then goes completely off, with no wet signal whatsoever.
Dry signal still gets through.
Evidently it’s out of warranty and I can’t seem to find any true expert in vintage EHX pedals where I live (Spain).
I was hoping to get a basic guidance of the potential causes before shipping it to the “official” out of warranty repair shop appointed by EHX in Europe (it’s in Germany so expensive shipping costs and long risky trip for my beloved pedal… 🙁 ).
Any help would be much appreciated.
Best.
