Need suggestion< power light is on but I can't get any sound. I have not used this thing in years, It's just been sitting in it's box. Maybe the switch is out?
Possibly. You could open it up and short out the output jack wire to the effect out wire and see if you get ny sound out.
I shorted the wire and I got a signal. So I just need to replace the switch?
There are usually 3 wires on the switch: output, effect out, and input. You need to make sure you shorted the effect out and output together.
I took the green wire attatched to the the bottom circut board and touched it to the center output connection and I got a signal. Was that what you were asking?
Did you get a clean signal out or was it a Microsynth sound?
It was a cleen signal.
Then hyou probably connected the output to the wrong wire. Try the other wire.
Ok I bypassed the switch all together and with one I get a clean tone the other I get synth sound. So I think I’ll get another switch. Thank you for your time.
That sounds like a switch. Good luck with your fix!
