I have a bass micro-synth that I’ve had for several years. Got back into a situation where I wanted to be able to use it, but its acting very flaky.
There seem to be 2 issues, not sure if they are related
1. When I press the footswith, I”m getting a really nasty pop, like unplugging a guitar from a live amp. Was thinking about replacing the switch, but I’m not sure where to get one, or what exactly to ask for.
2. About 2/3 of the time, when I press the footswitch, the pedal output volume is maybe 1/100 of what it should be, just barely audible. It seems to work correctly more often when I’m actually playing and switch it on, but that is no guarantee. I’m not sure if the potentially messed up footswitch could be the cause of this behavior too.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Kye
