Hello,
R42 and C8 are missing at my Bass Big Muff Pi.
Why is this so? Is it the same at your unit?
I soldered some 39nF at R42 and now i like my
Bass Big Muff Pi even better.
Before, i was never satisfied with him.

Excuse me, i soldered 1k to R42 instead the 39nF.
I will find a solution for C8 too.
In the end i did some more mods on this unit.
It is now suitable for guitar.
C8 is described as ons part of the low pass filter.
It is 100nF. I replaced it in this unit.
R8 is the other part of the low pass filter from the
tone stack. In the russian Muff it is 20K. I
soldered some resistor parallel, to change from
11,5K to 20K.
And i did a mod, that changes this unit from green russian
Muff specs. It is R22, the emiter from transistor 1.
Here i soldered 220 ohm resistor parallel to reduce R22.
R42 affects the bass bosst and changes it to an overall boost
unlike another version of green russian Muff.
I learned a lot more by modifying other Big Muff units in the last month.
Please excuse me,
1k in R24 is wrong. The tonepot did not react anymore.
It’s almost on full bass.
22k in R24 is a better conclusion if you want to use the tonepot in the boost mode.
