Didn’t know where else to post this kus it’s so way off topic. I recently bought a Strat body (Mexican Alder, mid-90s model) and this particular body is meant for extreme modding. The area where the pickguard would be, is not fitted for particular pickup combinations, and is just empty. You can put either a hum-hum, hum-sing-hum, all single coils.

This is the first time I will mod a guitar on my own. What my question is: What are the names of the various components I will need to build my own custom Strat?

The parts that I do have are: Mexi Neck, the body (which only has the Fender bridge and THAT’S IT!)

I know I need a pickguard/pickups/etc. but what I want to know are the specific names of these things so I can start getting quotes.

I know I will get a prewired-pickguard, what else should I get? Remember, the only thing on the body is the Fender Bridge.

What else do I need? the Spring system in the back of the guitar is not there either.
