Home › Forums › Help/Technical Questions › B9 -using both outputs to one (dual input) amplifier
First off, LOVE this pedal. Really cool to be able to out those organ tones into a live setting. Putting a volume pedal after the organ pedal, gives me the ability to do some cool swells, and vary the volume to work with my guitar volume.
In my rig, I’m using the dry output to the rest of my pedal chain with a volume pedal at the end of the chain, out to a fender tube amp (Super Reverb ). The organ output goes directly to another volume pedal, and out to a second amplifier. This is because when I initially put the organ (through vol ped) I to the 2nd input of my amp, it created a weird ground loop situation, causing the volume pedal to work incorrectly, actually worked opposite of the way it was supposed to. So to get the two signals doing what I wanted, I just used a second amplifier.
But I’d REALLY like to get it to just one amplifier….or at least I think I would like that ! I know my back would like to carry less gear to gigs, especially heavy amplifiers!!!!
Is it possible to modify the output or run it through some kind of isolated buffer, that would allow me to run both outputs through two separate volume pedals, into the same amplifier? Or is there a better or different volume pedal setup that would fit my situation better?
