I just noticed there is a software update for it you can download.

2880 Software Upgrade Version 1.5
This upgrade is recommended for all 2880 users though may not be necessary if you bought your a new 2880 after June 2008.
ADDITIONAL FEATURES
1. Full MIDI control over the 2880 using both MIDI Continuous Controllers and MIDI Program Change.
2. Quantize Loop update: allows for truncating a loop as well as finishing out a loop, when ending your New Loop.
3. Fixed bugs associated with syncing to MIDI Clock.
HOW TO UPGRADE THE 2880
See the pdf file called 2880 Software Upgrade Instructions that is contained within the zip file you downloaded or were emailed.
UPGRADE USER NOTES
See the pdf file called 2880 Software Upgrade Version 1_5 Notes for futher information on how to use the new features in the 2880 version 1.5 upgrade.
Also included in the zip file is the updated 2880 manual. The latest manual includes the additions in the software upgrade.
I don’t know when the update was released, but I haven’t seen anyone here mention it.
Plus it responds to continuous controller messages. It would be awesome if they could do the same for the HOG.
Best news I’ve had all week! Well, about gear, anyway, it’s been a good week!
Nice one Julian, I saw that update thing but I didn’t realise what it was or what it did!
The new software’s been out since June apparently.
I’ve been out of it since June!
Thanks sooooo much man!!!
