    Hi everyone,
I’m having trouble understanding how the fx loop on the Attack Decay works, because the Attack and Decay settings seem to make no difference either to my dry signal or the fx loop signal, either in Mono or Poly mode. The Blend knob works, changing the mix between dry and fx loop signal, but that’s all. I’ve got an octaver pedal in the fx loop, so it’s easy to tell the difference between the two signals, but both signals have the same attack and the same decay (basically an instant attack and long decay), whatever position I have the Attack and Decay knobs in.
My idea was to have a sub-octave going through a reverb so that an octave-down reverb would swell into my dry signal, but I have no idea how to achieve this.
I’ve read the manual about three times, but I still can’t work out what to do, and there don’t seem to be any YouTube videos focusing on the send-return function and settings.
I’ll be hugely grateful if anyone can help! Thanks.

Basically the way that the Send/Return loop works on the Attack Decay is that whatever signal is present at its Return jack will then go through the internal volume envelopes.

The output of the volume envelopes will then go to the wet side of the Blend knob. The Blend knob should sweep between the dry signal present at the Input jack and the wet output of the volume envelopes.

We recommend you first do a factory reset on the Attack Decay because the hidden Return Blend control could have been adjusted:

    1. Power down the Attack Decay.
    2. Press and hold the Bypass footswitch.
    3. Continue to hold down the Bypass footswitch while reapplying power to the Attack Decay.
    4. Continue to hold down the Bypass footswitch until one or more of the PRESET button LEDs begins flashing.
    5. Release the Bypass footswitch, factory restore is now completed.

Now try the effect, in mono mode, with Blend set to maximum. You also might want to start with an Attack setting above minimum to obtain a more varied effect sound, just for now.

Thanks for helping me out! It was only a simple factory reset, but it solved the problem and now the pedal is working exactly as I’d hoped it would. Great stuff!

    Excellent! Glad it’s working now.
