Home › Forums › Help/Technical Questions › Attack Decay external clock not triggering smoothly
Hi just bought an Attack Decay and am trying to trigger it using an external clock. Following the instruction in the manual (press poly then preset 1 wait till preset 2 flashes etc) I got it working but not cleanly. Instead of pulsing evenly it skips slightly every so many beats. I was using the trigger out on a Moog DFAM and I thought maybe it was that so I tried the EXX clockworks but the same thing even with messing around withe the level control. I checked the pulse from the Clockworks and it is rock solid. Is this normal – any feedback much appreciated.

Did some further ‘research’ and found that if you use the output from an EHX 8 Step sequencer as the clock source for the Attack Decay- setting up a pattern on which every other slider is either right up or right down then the Attack Decay envelope will fire in perfect sync. seems the only way to get it to work.
Please write the techs on Monday. info@ehx.com
