Home › Forums › Vintage EHX › Anyone know how to lower the volume of a V.1 Micro-Synthesizer?
I have a first version Micro-Synthesizer (switch on the left with the larger sliders)
It’s not unity gain with my clean signal so when I activate the switch I get an annoying increase in volume.
I read a pdf manual online for the newer Micro-Synths and they have an adjustable preamp so you can lower or increase the gain with a screwdriver but I can’t find anything like that on my old Micro-Synth.
Anyone?
maybe its not the same with the older micro synths … but why don’t you just lower the signal sliders until its at the level you like? i use the level sliders like this all the time to set the maximum volume i want out of a given voice
or is the step just above “not on” too loud?
I’ve got a v.1 also, and mine doesn’t have a volume issue. I haven’t looked to see if there’s a trimpot for the gain on it yet, but I’ve adjusted the trimpot on my reissue before with success.
