im a purist! rah rah rah! angry! rah rah rah! i hate fun! rah rah rah!
It’s not April Fool’s again yet surely Scott?!
Only joking, this is a fab idea,
a really great way to show budding (and veteran) musicians the EHX magic.
It’s funny, some people seem bent out of shape over this!
The game controller isn’t for people who play real guitar — it’s for people who like the game, and liking a game is fine with me…
dont ever underestimate what purists will get worked up over. if ANYONE on this sites band was asked to be in Rockband, theyd be an idiot not to say ‘hell yeah!’, if only for the straight up fun aspect of it, nevermind the exposure to a new audience. rockband, as much as people dont want to admit it, gets kids interested in playing music. and for people like my friends (all of which who are in bands and own EHX pedals), its awesome for everyone to just get hammered and badly play a bunch of mission of burma songs with tiny plastic instruments and generally not give a damn.
I’m not a fan of Rock Band, but power to any band or company that gets extra recognition for their stuff from the game.
The best music game is audiosurf BTW. Though you don’t really play songs, you play this Tron like game to the rhythm and dynamics of your favorite music.
hahaha, that’s pretty damn cool…. I’m kinda dissapointed it isn’t a new EHX Overdrive though.
Make a Q-Tron controller, so they can do some Chili Peppers or Stevie Wonder.
Just wait, you guys. The boutique builders will copy the circuit, rehouse it in a smaller chassis, and figure out how to make it add a fraction of a point extra to the score. Of course, it will cost an extra $200.
Is it True Bypass?
……….sorry, someone had to say it.
haha, this is pretty cool, even though i don’t play rock band (i prefer to play real instruments
Hopefully, the proceeds will go towards developing a more sophisticated ring modulator. A Deluxe Frequency Analyzer, or something.
Hear hear. Or maybe that Big Muff in a feedback loop I’ve been nagging you guys about for a while…
